Dignity at work - Dublin City Council
Dublin City Council needed a tailored course to equip middle managers with the skills to mediate complaints under the dignity at work policy. This course guides them through the role of a mediator, focusing on appropriate, respectful behavior in challenging situations.
To enhance relatability, learners choose from roles—firefighter, sanitation worker, or HQ staff—which customizes the course visuals, characters, and settings. This design ensures that learners experience the content in a familiar, context-specific environment, making the material more impactful across various departments.
As a government entity, accessibility was a priority. The course meets full Section 508 and JAWS screen reader standards, with text-only and podcast versions available to ensure inclusivity.
